1 Samuel 2:22

SV	Doch Eli was zeer oud, en hoorde al, wat zijn zonen aan gans Israël deden, en dat zij sliepen bij de vrouwen, die met hopen samenkwamen aan de deur van de tent der samenkomst.
WLC	וְעֵלִ֖י זָקֵ֣ן מְאֹ֑ד וְשָׁמַ֗ע אֵת֩ כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַעֲשׂ֤וּן בָּנָיו֙ לְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֵ֤ת אֲשֶֽׁר־יִשְׁכְּבוּן֙ אֶת־הַנָּשִׁ֔ים הַצֹּ֣בְאֹ֔ות פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מֹועֵֽד׃
Trans.	wə‘ēlî zāqēn mə’ōḏ wəšām^a‘ ’ēṯ kāl-’ăšer y^a‘ăśûn bānāyw ləḵāl-yiśərā’ēl wə’ēṯ ’ăšer-yišəkəḇûn ’eṯ-hannāšîm haṣṣōḇə’wōṯ peṯ^aḥ ’ōhel mwō‘ēḏ:

AC	כב ועלי זקן מאד ושמע את כל אשר יעשון בניו לכל ישראל ואת אשר ישכבון את הנשים הצבאות פתח אהל מועד
ASV	Now Eli was very old; and he heard all that his sons did unto all Israel, and how that they lay with the women that did service at the door of the tent of meeting.
BE	Now Eli was very old; and he had news from time to time of what his sons were doing to all Israel.

ELB05	Und Eli war sehr alt; und er hörte alles, was seine Söhne dem ganzen Israel taten, und daß sie bei den Weibern lagen, die sich scharten am Eingang des Zeltes der Zusammenkunft.
LSG	Eli était fort âgé et il apprit comment ses fils agissaient à l'égard de tout Israël; il apprit aussi qu'ils couchaient avec les femmes qui s'assemblaient à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation.
Sch	Eli aber war sehr alt und erfuhr alles, was seine Söhne an ganz Israel taten, und daß sie sich mit den Weibern vergingen, die vor der Tür der Stiftshütte den Dienst verrichteten.
